Howdy! I'm going to play one of my few "distracted" cards today, as it's a snow day here, and with all my excitement yesterday with Rants, I didn't prepare a topic for today. And today, well, I'm a little distracted hoping to hear about something.
And I figured none of you wanted to read about that. I know I wouldn't.
While I pace by the phone, would you all indulge me and tell me what one thing annoys you today? I hesitate in using a question mark. It's an order. Vent away.

What annoys me today is how everyone is freaking out about the snow. No one I know of has lost power and the worst thing that has happened is folks can't go to work because their office is closed. I want to say, "Grow a pair - it's only for 24 hours at the most that you'll be in the house. Do some laundry or something." Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteI am annoyed with my darling husband who cleared our driveway and the neighbor's of 10 inches of snow (higher drifts), ignored the state of emergency in our county and went to work anyway. And then bitched that most of his coworkers "didn't bother showing up." Uh, excuse me??
ReplyDeleteI am annoyed that it is 20 degrees with a windchill of 5 in San Antonio! Don't the weather gods know we only moved here because it's not as cold as it is up north!?!
ReplyDeleteThe thing that annoyed me today is I spent more time trying to get the kids to shovel than they actually did.
ReplyDeleteOoh, one more annoyance. Yesterday I asked my neighbor if he could snow blow me out and gave him some gas money. He did the driveway and the public walkway. Unfortunately that left the sidewalks leading to the house and leading to the driveway. It took me and the kids 3 hours to get that done.
I am simply annoyed that people are annoyed with the weather. It's just Mother Nature imposing a mandatory break. Relax, everyone!
ReplyDeleteI am ANNOYED at the frequency with which my morning train to work is late. I thought German trains were supposed to run on time!
